ASTM A242 steel is a high strength, low alloy weathering steel, commonly used in the manufacture of steel plates, steel pipes and other products. It is characterized by good oxidation protection and can be used in harsh natural environments for a long time without being affected by corrosion.<\/p>\n

The excellent performance of corten plate is also reflected in its good machinability and strength stability. It is often used in the manufacturing of steel structures, Bridges, prefabricated buildings, ships and containers.<\/p>\n

The steel standard was developed by the American Society for Materials and Testing in order to provide a material that can be used for a long time in outdoor environments without corrosion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
